Puppy Feeding Schedule: Exactly How Much & When to Feed

September 26, 2026 • 1 min read •

Puppies need more frequent, calorie-dense meals than adult dogs to support rapid growth. From 2–4 months, feed 4 small meals a day; by 6–12 months, most puppies transition to 2 meals a day.
